Winter Olympics, Nascar and redneck laziness, Tricycle the 3-legged greyhound, Kevin is the laziest man on Earth, Haiku movie reviews, Strong Smooth Black and Misunderestimated, and Dwayne Wayne glasses. All in this episode of the "New and Improved" Zen and Peace show! (download this episode as an mp3. Direct download link located at the end of the show notes.)
So we're one year into this little hobby of ours, and it's time we make some changes for the better. The biggest change you'll notice is that we've eliminated the "theme" format of the show. No longer will we beat to death a single topic ad nauseum. From now on the show will be more conversational and free-wheeling. Segments have been increased. Joining "Good, Bad and Ugly" and "Picks" are some new show segments, including "Regrets" and "Haiku Movie Review." To break things up and to keep the flow of each episode moving, the number of music breaks have been increased also. Speaking of music, here are the links for the songs played during the episode. Music for this episode was provided through IODAPromoNet.com. Note that you can right click on the first link of each song and download the mp3 for free. If you would like to support the artists, however, please use the iTunes and Amazon links to purchase the tracks.

Listener Homework: There are two challenges that we are throwing out there for listeners of the Zen and Peace Show. There are rewards for those that take up the gauntlet we've thrown down. First, we would like for you to share with us your own Haiku Movie Reviews. Any movie at all, from any time period. Make sure it's a haiku (17 syllables in 3 lines, 5 - 7 - 5) and make sure it's creative. The Haiku Movie Review we pick as the best listener submitted will win an iTunes Gift Card. Send them to zenandpeaceshow@gmail.com and be sure to include in the subject of the email that it is a Haiku Movie Review. Second, we want to hear your own Regrets in a future Regret segment. If just two people call in their regrets to the voicemail line (1-203-ZEN-PEAC) then I will reward the listeners by posting a picture on the website of me in my "Dwayne Wayne" glasses, circa 1991. If nobody calls in, I'm burning the picture forever.
Hope you enjoy the new show!
