Dead or Alive Diff'rent Strokes edition. Blaire or Jo? Babes of Yesteryear: Mia Sara, Kathleen Turner and Sue Lyon. Straight Talk. Diamondback's bullpen. Four wheelers. We'll get this right out of the way, before we go any further. Kevin Peace is on hiatus from the show. Once you listen to the episode you'll realize it's actually an assignment to infiltrate the secret, sometimes sleazy world of real life superheroes. Kevin will return from time to time during the year to keep us updated on his escapades. The Zen and Peace Show will live on, just less frequently. This episode was recorded at the beginning of June and is a quick snapshot of the Pop Culture World at that time. Gary Coleman had just recently passed and we were still reeling. We pay tribute to a man short of stature but not of character with a Dead or Alive game based on the cast of his breakout show, "Diff'rent Strokes." Who would have guessed that Todd Bridges would be the one to outlive his television siblings? We also play a game that looks back at the horrible hits of 1992, the year Zen graduated high school. Kids born that year are now graduating themselves, a depressing fact not lost on our cast.

Welcome to the very first episode of The Double D Podcast! You may be wondering what Double D stands for. At it's most basic it stands for the hosts, Diaz and DeHoag. But it also means much more. Dos Dudes. Down and Dirty. Deliberately Dumb. Double Down. Designated Drunks. Drunk and Disorderly. Developmentally Disabled. You get the idea. The Double D podcast is a weekly gathering to enjoy some drinks, tell some jokes, reminisce and have a good time. Recorded every Sunday night, the Double D is a companion podcast to The Zen and Peace Show.
One last thing. Although this is a companion podcast and part of the same feed as The Zen and Peace Show, we do have a seperate email address for this show. If you'd like to write us and tell Ray that he is completely wrong about the band Journey, send it to: DoubleDPodcast@gmail.com
